Principle of TechnologySimilar to established bead-based array technologies, the Challenbio 8-Plex Cytokine Assay utilizes a multiplexed flow cytometry 

approach to simultaneously quantify soluble analytes. Distinctly sized capture beads, each conjugated with a specific antibody, bind to target cytokines in the sample. Upon incubation with a fluorescent detection reagent, "sandwich complexes" (capture bead + analyte + detector) are formed.
